Manager of Manufacturing Engineering

Responsibilities of this challenging position include directing the activities of the Manufacturing Engineering group to sustain and improve manufacturing of the current product lines, introduce new tooling, equipment and process methods; develop project plans which support the strategic direction of the Company, drive the transfer of knowledge into manufacturing for new product introductions; manage cross-functional teams; create continuous improvement initiatives; analyze technology trends, support human resource needs and demands; and develop standardized processes to ensure highest quality and best long-term reliability at an acceptable cost/performance ratio. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership, project management, budgeting and problem solving skills, and clear decision making ability.

A Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field along with a minimum of 10 years experience in manufacturing including related experience in process development and a minimum of 5 years management experience is required. Other critical requirements include knowledge and understanding of FDA and ISO regulations, the ability to effectively communicate and implement change and the ability to work collaboratively with the operations teams to drive improvements with results.

Manufacturing Process Development Engineer

This is a great opportunity to join a team of engineers with responsibilities to define, establish, qualify, validate and continuously improve processes in a medical manufacturing environment.  Core knowledge and demonstrated application in one of our specific engineering disciplines such as mechanical, polymers, ceramics, epoxies, robotics, automation, motion control, or material science is a plus.  The ideal candidate will possess a BS in Engineering or equivalent combination of education training and work experience.  Additionally, a minimum of 10 years experience contributing in a manufacturing environment is expected, including demonstrated success in project leadership, process development tools, troubleshooting, corrective actions and statistical tools for qualification and validation.
